With a total investment capital of 20.5 million USD, the Company has successfully built and installed the waste heat recovery system that use waste gas at the Company's cement production lines to generate electricity. The project with power generation capacity according to design 12.8 MW has become one of the first and largest power generation systems utilizing waste heat in cement plants in Vietnam at the time of its inauguration in September 2014.

With the efforts of the Project Steering Committee, employees of the Project, Plant Division and contractors, although it was completed two months earlier than the approved schedule, when it was officially put into operation, the system still reached and even exceeded the power generation capacity by about 10% compared to the original design.
